Because Nylon absorbs humidity, parts may experience dimensional shifts after machining. Humidity can affect dimensions, fits, and tolerances between production, storage, and final assembly.

We provide guidance on material conditioning and storage so components meet specifications at the point of assembly. This is especially important for precision housings, snap-fit features, gears, bushings, and other mechanical parts.
